Enjoy the last thrilling kilometers along the North Coast 500. This route offers breathtaking coastal landscapes and spectacular views as we head toward John o'Groats, the northernmost point of Great Britain. The highlight is a group photo and a celebratory farewell after nearly 2000 km of unforgettable experiences through the stunning landscapes of the United Kingdom.
Days 1–7
Arrival in Cornwall
After your individual arrival in Cornwall in the furthest southwest of England, you will arrive at a stylish hotel on the Land's End peninsula. There you will be welcomed by the tour guides and receive a detailed briefing about the upcoming adventurous route that will take you from the south to the furthest north of Great Britain. The day ends with a group dinner at the hotel.
Start at Lands End
The next morning we start our adventure at the southwestern tip of Great Britain, Land's End. We meander along the wild coast on back roads. The narrow streets of Cornwall, lined with high hedges and old walls, take us through a historic cultural landscape that gives us the feeling of stepping into another time. The first enchanted paths stir anticipation for what is yet to come – a journey full of variety and unforgettable impressions. In the evening we reach the foot of the majestic Brecon Beacon mountains, where we will spend the first night of our adventure in a charming, historic country hotel.
Adventure in Wales
After a hearty breakfast, we continue on our journey through Wales – a country known for its beautiful back roads and adventurous Green Lanes. A long, but epic day of driving awaits us as we conquer the remote highlands of Wales on narrow, winding roads. Our destination for the day: a quaint inn south of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, where we will end the evening with a delicious dinner and a relaxing drink at the cozy bar.
Through Northern England to Scotland
The day begins with driving through the lonely mountain landscapes of Northern England. Then we continue on narrow paths into Scotland, through the Border Forest Park and remote back roads. After some scenic passages, we finally reach the wild west coast of Scotland. Our destination for the day is a historic Scottish manor house, where we will spend the night.

Wild Highlands in Scotland
In the morning, we leave the main road at Loch Lomond and dive into the mountains. The day takes us along selected back roads through the wild, untouched regions of the southern Scottish Highlands. The route constantly alternates between wide, treeless plateaus and the roaring sea. The conclusion of this epic day is a dinner with local specialties and an overnight stay in a real Scottish castle.
Across the Northern Highlands
Even the last driving day of the LeJog 4x4 tour offers you impressive experiences off the main roads. On varied routes, we traverse the northern Highlands and follow the most beautiful sections of the North Coast 500. The lonely natural landscape of mountains, lakes, and sea provides us with a unique backdrop for our Great Britain adventure. Our destination is a cozy hotel by the coast, where the final evening of our 4x4 tour through the United Kingdom takes place.
Finale in John o'Groats
After a hearty breakfast, we start the last joint stage along the North Coast 500. Around noon, after almost 2000 adventurous kilometers, we reach the northernmost point of Great Britain: John o'Groats. After a few last group photos for farewell, everyone embarks on their individual return journey. We'll see you at the next adventure!
